Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) — Professional Journey

He joined Indian Railway as a Group-A Officer and worked with various capacity in different parts of the country. Various milestone has been achieved in Rail Line Project in the State of Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Gujarat with a proven track record.

One of his key achievements was the completion of the Surat–Jalgaon doubling project (310 km) within a period of just three years. He comes with vast Experience in Planning, Designing, and Implementation of Rail line projects on fast track basis.

Educational Qualifications
  • 1986 Graduated with B.E. (Civil Engineering) from IIT Roorkee and secured AIR 1 (99.97 percentile) in GATE 1986.
  • 1986 Joined the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) as a Group 'A' Officer through UPSC.
  • 1988 M.Tech. (Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering) from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi
  • 2008 Authored "Vision of High Speed Rail Corridors in India," published by Indian Railways.
  • 2011 Completed MBA (Industry Integrated) from IILM, New Delhi.
